Sea salt began to be collected in the lagoons of the royal city of Nin in ancient Roman times. (The traditional method of collection, as well as man’s love for this activity, controlled by nature itself, has survived to this day. On an area of ​​55 hectares, salt is produced here in an environmentally friendly way, charged with sunlight and scented by the mountain wind.)
